Services Australia has announced changes to the Carer Payment, which take effect from today.

It is now more flexible to combine paid work, study, or volunteering while receiving the Carer Payment.

Carers receiving the Carer Payment are now able to work 100 hours in a 4-week period, and travel time to and from work doesn't count. If you sometimes work more than 100 hours in a 4-week period, there are options to still keep your full payment.
