It was an honor to be invited as guest of honor to be the Grand Rounds and Keynote Speaker at the 21st Augustus A. White III Symposium, hosted by Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School.

My presentations:
1️⃣ Pelvic and Acetabulum Fracture Management in Resource-Limited Settings
2️⃣ Neglected Trauma in Ethiopia

I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to exchange ideas with brilliant minds, and to discuss how advances in joint replacement and trauma care in Ethiopia are helping us manage the complex neglected trauma we encounter daily. It was also a moment to reflect on how innovation, resilience, and collaboration in orthopedic trauma care can drive global impact and contribute to building sustainable health systems.

Engaging with Harvard faculty, trainees, and global colleagues was truly inspiring - reaffirming the importance of collaboration, equity, and innovation in advancing orthopedic surgery worldwide.
