Major exhibitors and presenters at the IMTD 2009 were from all over India . In a message to the organizers, Ms Preeti Saran, Consulate General of India said – “IMTD 2009 provided a window in the Medical Tourism sector for Canadians looking for affordable, quality and World Class alternatives in healthcare services in India.” The conference team was led by Dr. Narottam Puri, NABH chairman. The exhibition was graced by some very prominent people in the Healthcare industry and the government such as Dr. Naresh Trehan, MD, Medanta the Medicity, H.E Shree Sibrabrata Tripathi, High Commissioner Of India to Kenya, Hon (Prof.) Anyang Nyongo, Minister Of Medical Services Of Kenya and The Conference and Exhibition created a stir in the Indian Healthcare Industry.
