Polystoma integerrimum is a parasite of frog urinary bladder 🐸. What is interesting on lifecycle of this monogenean is that the migration and development of the parasite is influenced by the host's hormonal system. The parasite larvae first attachto the gills of the tadpole and, as soon as the young frog passes through a metamorphosis to an young adult, the parasite migrates from the surface of the gills to the urinary bladder where it grows and matures. This migration to internal organ also serves as a protection against drought 🍂that an adult frogs are exposed to since they are amphibians.

ዓለም አቀፍ የፀረ-ተህዋሲያን መድኃኒቶች ግንዛቤ ማስጨበጫ ሳምንትን ምክንያት በማድረግ የተለያዩ መገናኛ ብዙኃን እና ባለድርሻ አካላት በተገኙበት በጁፒተር ኢንተርናሽናል ሆቴል የውይይት መድረክ ተካሄደ፡፡

የፀረ-ተህዋሲያን መድኃኒቶች በበሽታ አምጭ ተህዋሲያን አማካኝነት በሰውና በእንስሳት ላይ የሚደርሱ ተላላፊ በሽታዎችን ለመከላከልና ለማከም የምንጠቀማቸው መድኃኒቶች ሲሆኑ ከዛሬ 80 ዓመት በፊት ተፈልስፈውና ተመርተው በሰዎችና በእንስሳት ላይ የሚደርሰውን ስቃይና ሞት መታደግ ችለዋል፡፡

የፀረ -ተህዋሲያን መድኃኒቶች በጀርሞች መለመድ እንደ ምክንያት ከተነሱት መካከል የፀረ- ተህዋሲያን መድኃኒቶች ያለ ጤና ባለሙያ ትዕዛዝ መውሰድ፤ የጸር- ትህዋሲያን መድኃኒት ማቆረጥ፤ መጠኑን መቀነስና ጨምሮ መውሰድ፤ ያለ እንስሳት ህክምና ባለሙያ ትእዛዝ የጸረ- ተህዋሲያን መድኃኒቶችን ለእንስሳት መስጠት፤ እና የጸር- ተህዋሲያን መድኃኒቶች ቅሪት ያለበትን የእንስሳት ተዋዕጾ መመገብ፤ የግልና የአካባቢን ንጽህና አለመጠበቅ መሆናቸው ለተሳታፊዎች ቀርበዋል፡፡ በዚህም ምክንያት በሀገራችን በየዓመቱ ከ750 ሺህ በላይ የሚሆኑ ሰዎች እንደሚሞቱና ይህንን ችግር ለመቀነስ ፈጣን እርምጃ መወሰድ እንዳለበት በውይይት መድረኩ ላይ ተብራርቷል፡፡

የፀረ-ተህዋሲያን መድኃኒቶች በእንስሳት ሀብት ልማት ላይ እያደረሰ ያለውን ጉዳት እና እየተደረገ ያለውን ጥንቃቄ በተመለከተም በግብርና ሚኒስቴር የእንስሳት ሃብት ልማት ዘርፍ ሚኒስትር ዴኤታ ዶ/ር ፍቅሩ ረጋሳ የፀረ- ተህዋሲያን መድኃኒቶች በህዋሳት መለመድ ከፍተኛ ችግር መሆኑና ችግሩም በአንድ ተቋም ብቻ ሳይሆን በቅንጅታዊ አሰራር እንደሚቀረፍ ተናግረዋል፡፡

የፀረ-ተህዋሲያን መድኃኒቶች በተህዋሲያን የመለመድ ችግር ለመቅረፍ እንደ ግብርና ሚኒስቴር በቅድሚያ በሰው እና በእንስሳት ላይ ሊከሰት የሚችለውን በሽታ ከመድኃኒት ውጭ መከላከልን መሰረት ባደረገ መንገድ ችግሩ የሚቀረፍበት ብዙ መንገዶች እንዳሉና በዚህ ጉዳይ ላይ ግብርና ሚኒስቴር ትኩረት ሰጥቶ እየሰራ መሆኑንም ሚኒትር ዴኤታው ገልጸዋል፡፡

ዓለም አቀፍ የጸረ- ተህዋሲያን መድኃኒቶች የግንዛቤ ማስጨበጫ ሳምንት ዘንድሮ በዓለም አቀፍ ደርጃ ለስድስተኛ ጊዜ በሀገራችን ደግሞ ለአምስተኛ ጊዜ ‹‹ክብካቤ ለፀረ- ተህዋሲያን መድኃኒቶች›› በሚል መሪ ቃል ከህዳር 9-15 /2013 ዓ. ም በተለያዩ ፕሮግራሞች እየተከበረ ይገኛል፡፡
