[🇫🇷 TRADE SHOW] Today we’re at 3D PRINT PARIS, the leading AM trade show in France.

It’s always nice to catch up in person with industry friends and partners - and of course, a great opportunity to see some beautiful machines in real life 😍.

This morning, Pierre-Antoine moderated a panel on AM materials for the circular economy while Elliot and Irving were roaming the floor, meeting with partners and checking out the latest innovations.

While trade shows are slowly turning into a thing of the past in our increasingly remote world, we believe local conferences are still relevant (and it’s nice to have real-world interactions sometimes 🤝).

After 100+ hours of testing, it’s time to send the Pro 3 Plus back to 🥺

Pierre-Antoine and Elliot printed a lot of different parts and there were zero fails 👌 Their two main takeaways are that it offers a great performance and that the user experience / workflow are very intuitive.

Now we’re talking! In the first photo, we tried scanning a black mug. It was of course too difficult for the scanner.

We sprayed a layer of white coating and, as you can see in the second picture, it undeniably helped the scanner detect the mug.

Our team has been split up in different parts of the world these past couple of years, mostly between France 🇫🇷 and 🇰🇭.

This year, the last Cambodia-based members and moved back to France, and we have all finally been able to meet up in person again!

We took a few days off to visit the beautiful city of Bordeaux, do some wine-tasting 🍷 , try some delicious restaurants 🥘, and simply hang out and enjoy spending time together as a team.

This week, a few of us will be at the 3D Print Congress and Exhibition in Paris- let’s meet! 😀

This trend is happening in the context of:

1/ the advent of digital manufacturing, enabled in part by AM,
2/ and an overall bull market unlocking an influx of cash from VC’s and enabling several IPOs in the industry.

➡️ The fragmented AM landscape shows signs of maturing with a growing number of mergers and acquisitions.
