A Passionate Team

Renaud and Aimee MARIE have been doing French genealogy together since 2006 for individual clients. Renaud, native of France, became passionate of genealogy after researching information for his great-grandmother, a foster child, whose information was not easlily accesible. He also spent most of his childhood exploring France with parents who loved history. Eventually, he passed the test for ICAPgen and is listed among professional genealogists.

Aimee, a, Idaho native and BYU graduate in the French language and obtained a French Genealogy and Family History certificate, also became passionate after wanting to reconnect with her own French heritage. After taking extra classes on learning how to do French genealogy, she was invited on an Genealogy intership to France. This opportunity not only helped her aquire the needed skills to research in France, it allowed her to fulfill her dream of searching and learning more about her ancestors; including visiting the places where they lived.

Since, Renaud and Aimee have loved working on different genealogy projects together. Their passions have collided and have become contagious to those around them. Together, they make an excellent multicultural team for any English or French speaking individual wanting to learn more about their own family history and allow the transition from one culture to the other possible to understand.
