It’s been a big few days in Paris.

I had the opportunity to attend , Europe’s largest tech and innovation conference, alongside some phenomenal leaders at the forefront of AI’s evolution.

Over three days we explored the world of AI that moves far beyond technical capability, how it’s reshaping our communities, the way we move throughout our day, our work, our creative processes, our systems of interaction, and the fundamental processes that will now bring and implement big ideas to life.

Leaders like Yann LeCun (Chief AI Scientist, Meta), Jensen Huang (Founder & CEO, NVIDIA), Cliff Obrecht (Co-Founder & COO, Canva), and Vanessa Wyche (Acting Associate Administrator, NASA) and many more brought their key insights to the conversation, on how this evolution is shaping today and carving tomorrow.

One thing is clear to me:

emotional intelligence is no longer a ‘soft skill’.

It’s the skill that will differentiate the next generation of leaders.

The ability to read nuance, sense energy, lead with introspection, and move with both refined clarity and depth will become the new currency that sets you apart.

And that’s what excites me most.

As AI takes on more of what’s mechanical, it opens up space for what’s more meaningful, giving us greater capacity to explore our true gifts, our real creativity, and really getting to meet our deepest sense of self.

Creating a mood // How we use stock imagery

Every image we select is a conscious choice, not a filler.

We use stock imagery to evoke a specific feeling, to set the tone, and to hold space for the vision we’re crafting.

Whether it's texture, light, or movement, our selections are curated to feel cohesive, aligned with your brand’s energy, and layered with meaning.

One of the challenges as a Brand Strategist is that not every project is going to reflect your "personal" preference.

I'm obsessed with vintage images, grainy textures, light and shadow, but it's so important to understand that just as this is my preference, this is not supposed to unfold across every brand I work with.

We have preferences, yes. But we Art Direct every project with our client's brand as the focus, not ours.

No two projects from Murni Studio's look the same - and that's how I know we've done our job right.

My one piece of business advice.

Don’t take business advice.

I know, contradictory right?

But here's the thing.

Advice often comes with a list of “shoulds”.

Rules from someone else’s story that may not fit your own.

It’s prescriptive.

It’s based on someone else’s experiences, context, and perspective.

We’re often driven to seek advice because we’re afraid to take full ownership when things don’t go as planned.

But here’s the thing: all advice really does is disempower you.

Guidance, on the other hand, is what allows us to tune into our inner knowing.

It asks the questions we often avoid.

It challenges us to look within, reflect, listen to our own truth,
not the projection of a truth from someone else.

Guidance is sharing our stories, our experiences, our knowledge, and applying it to context.

It's not absolute answers, it recognises each of us may need different things, in different seasons, are woven with different fabrics that make you, you.

It’s about holding the space for YOU to find the answers right for you.

Guidance comes from a place of empathy, multifaceted experience, and deep acceptance that you are the one who holds the key.

When you take advice, you’re stepping into someone else’s shoes.
When you embrace guidance, you’re empowered to step into your own.
