When food use to control my life..
I use to have this idea that in order to change my body I had to eat “healthy” foods and any “bad” foods would ruin my goals
I didn’t even realize that labeling foods as good and bad was actually holding me back from losing fat and being able to build muscle
I would get on this kick of eating what I thought was super healthy foods, but then my friend would invite me out to dinner
I would literally get anxiety about going out to eat because I felt like eating out would ruin my hard work and progress
Sometimes I would cave and go out, enjoy cocktails and dessert, and I would feel SO guilty and punish myself for all the yummy foods I ate
It wasn’t until I realized my mindset was all wrong that I actually started to see my body transform
I finally understood and BELIEVED that there’s no good or bad food, simply more nutrient dense foods and less nutrient dense foods and it’s okay to include BOTH in your diet
