If you are a plant lover like me, you may be propagating these beautiful plants of yours 🪴
-
One way I use often is by making cuttings of a main plant.
-
So here I leave you with the perfect plant hangers for those new babies and 7 simple steps you can follow to make your own cuttings:
-
1. Cut a section from the plant
2. Remove the lower leaves from the cutting
3. Mix up the compost
4. Push the cuttings down into the compost
5. Water the cuttings
6. Cover the pot with a bag
7. Place the cuttings in a suitable location and wait

Doesn’t happen to you that you find hard to not keep some of your creations?

Well... I just have realised that I have a problem with not keeping belts! And if I am honest with you, I am thinking of adding some more to the collection! 😬

love for Macrame

Since I was little, I enjoyed joining my grandmother and mum in knitting, embroidery and tapestry. Through the years my artistic side got put to a side due to studies and a formal job from Monday to Friday. But something was missing.

Everything started from a passion for plants and the day we run out of space to place them. A piece of rope sitting in a drawer remind me how happy I used to be with string in between my fingers. I haven't been able to put the rope down since then. I have found working with my hands to be therapeutic and find it fulfilling to share my knowledge with others by delivering workshops for adults and children and taking part in different events.

This is how Green Knots Creations was born, from the intention to bring together my passion for plants and fibers. Therefore, all pieces are handmade and all the materials used in the process are recycled, reused or natural materials (some of them collected directly by me).Edit
