🌿 DIY BAKING SODA ORNAMENTS 🌿

Gifts are special for the spirit of offering. It doesn’t matter what you receive, but the fact that someone took the time to select and wrap something just for you.
I love to offer homemade gifts for Christmas (cookies, hot chocolate jars, natural dyed fabrics...), and every year the most funny part is to think about the gifts wrapping decorations.

🌿 COZINESS 🌿
The holiday season can be overwhelming. In the attempt to enjoy it to the fullest I’m trying to slow down and surround myself by an atmosphere of peace, joy and smiles.
I made a list of tips for a slow Christmas. I’ll share it with you in the next days. In the meantime, I hope you’ll take time for yourself to make the most of these holidays.

🎄SCENT OF XMAS🎄
When I think back at my past Christmas holidays, the firsts images that pop into my mind are my family gathering around a table, the Christmas lights the illuminated our faces and the smell of orange, almond, honey and cinnamon coming form our kitchen.
The cookies marathon has just started, the tree has been decorated and my kitchen smells like in the past 🎄

❄️ MEMORIES OF THE FIRST SNOW ❄️

🇮🇹 Sono nata in una cittadina di mare e ho sempre visto la neve come qualcosa di magico e inaspettato.
Ricordo ancora la prima grande nevicata della mia infanzia. Era febbraio. Ancora assonnata mi ero affacciata alla finestra, tra la gioia e lo stupore di chi quella neve l’aveva sempre sognata.
Un manto bianco aveva coperto la città.
A scuola, noi bambini avevamo trascorso la mattina a giocare nei cortili innevati, ridendo a squarciagola e cercando di prendere con la bocca i fiocchi candidi che planavano leggeri sui nostri volti.
Era tutto talmente magico che la neve ci sembrava persino di zucchero.
E voi ricordate la prima nevicata di quando eravate bambini?

🇬🇧 I was born in a seaside town and I’ve always seen snow as something magical and unexpected.
I still remember the first snowfall of my childhood.
It was February. Still sleepy and wrapped in a warm wool blanket I had looked out of the window.
The city was wrapped in a white cloak.
At school, children had spent the morning playing in the snowy courtyards, laughing loudly and trying to catch the candid flakes with our mouth, while they glided light and silent on our faces.
It was all so magical... that the snow even tasted like sugar to all of us.

🍁 ACTS OF KINDNESS 🍁
Another few autumnal images before turning the feed into a Christmas mood.
The weather is quite cold in Paris and there’s nothing better than enjoying the cozy atmosphere of a warm home.
Unfortunately not all people have this chance. Feeling grateful to have a roof over my head and
sending my thoughts of hope to all those less lucky than me 🧡
Ps: in many cities bars and cafes are giving the opportunity to pay a warm drink/meal for those who need.

🌿 NOVEMBER Bday CAKE 🌿
I’m daughter of Autumn and of this introspective month, that is November.
It’s the time to enjoy all the blessings I’ve reaped from a full year. And to celebrate my birthday (on the 6th) I couldn’t wish a better delight than this: a naked cake dressed with autumn leaves, sprinkled with a rain of golden sugar and filled with a delicious chestnut cream 🌰 I had so much fun decorating this cake. The smell and beauty of the nature.
I wish you all to celebrate and embrace each season and their endless beauties.

🌿 CHOCO-COMFORT 🌿

🌿 COMFORT FOOD 🌿
Weather sweater and velvety soups. I love sweet potatoes, both roasted and in soups. This is a must for cold days. I added some coconut cream and topped it with crunchy seeds for more texture.
