Summary
This position is responsible for creating persuasive writing to promote the sales of the company's product portfolio to be utilized in various channels such as digital, print, brand videos, advertisements, tradeshows, direct mail campaign, articles, newsletters, and announcements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible to sell product value proposition through the power of attention-getting and differentiating words.
Creation of product value propositions.
Managing brand standards for the organization relating to messaging.
Collaborates with Marketing, Sales, Applications, Service, R&D, Subject Matter Experts, and Industry Relations on creative projects to gather information to create messaging strategies.
Works with multiple digital media platforms.
Designs print and online display advertising.
Maintains email marketing, and websites/landing pages/SEO and editorial.
Responsible for creating newsletters, and product bulletins.
Works with the marketing team in creating marketing collateral and tradeshow signage.
Creates video scripts, press releases and presentations.
Accepts other writing tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing or communications.
A writing portfolio.
Experienced in producing copy for digital, print, brand videos, advertisements, tradeshows, direct mail campaign, articles, newsletters, and announcements.
Solid understanding of SEO concepts.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
Proficiency with Adobe Software Suite (InDesign or InCopy).
Demonstrated ability to use tone/voice/story to write product descriptions that are relevant, unique, and engaging.
Must be highly motivated, organized, and willing to adapt to changing business priorities as they arise.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the life sciences research and diagnostics industry.
Experience with videography.
