🚍 Exciting News! Referrals Now Open for Binky the Sensory Bus After-School Support in Peterhead & Fraserburgh!🚍
We are thrilled to announce that after high demand and requests, our Outreach Support Service on Binky the Sensory Bus is now open for referrals in Peterhead and Fraserburgh throughout the school term from October 2024! 🌟
📅 When & Where:
- from October 2024
- Peterhead: Wednesdays, between 3:30pm and 8pm
- Fraserburgh: Thursdays, between 3:30pm and 8pm
⏰ Support Details:
- Minimum 2-hour, up to 4.5 hour sessions available.
- Support provided by A-ND’s Neurodiversity Support Workers on Binky the Sensory Bus and at our partner facilities in Peterhead and Fraserburgh.
- Parents or carers are not required to stay during the session.
💰 Funding:
- Support can be funded through self-funding or SDS (SDS rates apply).
- While we would love to offer this service for free, we must charge to cover costs and ensure our team is fairly compensated for their amazing work.
📩 Referral Information:
- We expect a high volume of referrals, so spots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
- A waiting list will be maintained with a maximum of 10 slots, and referrals will close once the list is full.
- If demand is high, we may add an extra day in Fraserburgh in the coming months, depending on availability.
To refer your child, please send an email with their details, age, and preferred support hours to: referrals@a-nd.org.uk
One of our team will then be in touch to discuss your referral.
After a huge number of enquiries and feedback since launching our WFWF project with our partners SensationALL (SCO43156) we are delighted to offer this much-needed service to our community.
A massive thank you to our incredible partners at Stagecoach, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, and Fraserburgh Leisure Centre for making this possible! 🙌
