The semester is finally over and we hope you're all well!

We'll be starting the recruitment for next year LevelUp! Committee soon, so if you are interested in joining the team and have a challenging, rewarding and CV enhancing experience, here are some of the position you can apply for:

- Secretary

Apply by sending us a motivational letter (around 150 words) where you explain why you want to join the team, also mentioning what position you are applying for!

We encourage as many of you as possible to apply, as more positions within the team might open or change, so if you are interested in joining but not sure about the position that is no problem at all!

We were delighted to take part in the Level-Up! conference this year. Level-Up! is two day student led conference where attendees have the opportunity to of learn essential skills for their life and career while developing their potential. Dr Thereza Raquel Sales de Aguiar, Senior Lecturer in Accountancy for the Business School was invited to join the ‘Women in Power; Change the World’ panel. Thereza was joined by Jeanette Forbes, CEO of PCL Group, Vicky Brock, CEO of Get Market Fit and Maribel Ayala , Head of Marketing of Duncan and Todd Group. The panel discussed women in male dominated industries, leadership and imposter syndrome.

On behalf of the whole committee, we want to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who attended the conference this weekend!✨ We had an amazing time listening to such inspiring speakers and participating to the wide range of workshops, and we hope you did too! We received very positive feedback and it was incredibly rewarding for us see our hard work pay off💪🏻 Thanks to our volunteers as well, who helped us make sure everything ran smoothly on the day: your contribution was greatly appreciated and we hope you had fun too!

LevelUp! 2019 is almost here💪
On the top of our workshops, talks and LinkedIn Photoshoot, we are happy to announce that there will be a few extra activities during the breaks!

VR experience, Blackwell's will offer discounts on selected items, Peacock Visual Arts will also be there giving you the chance to be creative and try out some screen-printing and badge making. There will also be Peacock branded tote bags and a selection of prints available for sale.
