Sharing this from Esther Helfer. Some of you might like to help by answering her survey?

Hello,I'm working on an art project at the moment, rediscovering Aberdeen not as a granite city but as a red clay city. Using old maps of the area, I have been looking into Aberdeen's pan-tile industry and how it shaped the visual character of the city. It is amazing how a place can change over time and how narratives can impact its identity.
That in mind I would like to collect some of the stories and/or memories that people have of Aberdeen. Perhaps how something used to be, something you have seen changed or a piece of history that has slipped into the background of the city's many past.
If you have something you would like to share please fill out this short survey or get in touch with me directly.

Please feel free to share the survey with anyone else who might be interested in contributing.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Many thanks!

✨ The wait is finally over! ✨

We are absolutely delighted to announce that we’ll be opening this Friday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the beautiful Wallace Tower.

We can’t wait to open that gorgeous door and welcome you into the incredible space we feel so lucky to call home.

Thank you so much to the lovely Tillydrone Community Development Trust trust for making this happen, for all of the incredible hard work and for the lovely welcome and support they have shown us ♥️

Over the next few days we’ll be running a soft launch as we settle into our new surroundings and find our flow. During this time, we’ll be offering freshly made sandwiches, beautiful coffee as always, and a selection of lovely cakes.

Our winter opening hours for the next couple of months will be:
Wednesday to Friday: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

We can’t wait to see you this weekend and over the coming days. Thank you for all your excitement and support — it means the world ♥️
