🌟 You're Invited to Our Open Day! 🌟

Are you thinking about transitioning from school into adult services, or exploring new opportunities for someone with additional needs?

At Thrive Together Aberdeen, we understand that transitions can feel overwhelming for individuals and families. Finding the right environment, support and opportunities is so important — and we're here to help make that step a little easier.

We would love to welcome parents, families, carers, professionals and individuals to come along to our Open Day to learn more about what we offer.

We support adults aged 18+ and accept Self-Directed Support (SDS) Option 1 & 2.

Come and:
✨ Look around our space
✨ Meet our friendly team
✨ Learn about our day services and social opportunities
✨ Ask questions about transitions and support options
✨ Pick up a referral pack

📅 Friday 10th April 2026
⏰ 12pm – 2pm
📍 Silverburn Lodge, Claymore Drive, Bridge of Don, Aberdeen

To help make visiting easier, we have also created a social story for anyone who may feel anxious about coming somewhere new.

If you would like a copy of the social story before visiting, please get in touch with Kirsty at:

🎈YOU’RE INVITED 🎉
Relaxed birthday parties where every child belongs

We know that for many neurodivergent children, birthdays can be hard. You may have seen on our social media that this year, thanks to the incredible support of Cash for Kids North East Scotland and our long-standing friends at Codonas, We Too! is changing that 💚

✨ You’re Invited is a brand new project creating 12 relaxed birthday parties – one every month – for neurodivergent children who would love to try a birthday party, in a way that feels safe, supported and truly them. If your loved one would like to be considered to celebrate their special day with the Ninjas please complete the below form via our website www.wetoo.org.uk under the 'Events' tab or follow the below link:

https://form.jotform.com/260775221026047

Each party will be gently planned around the birthday child – from the pace of the session to whether they want cake, photos, singing… or none of the above. Because belonging matters more than balloons.

Applications will be quiet, kind and private – this isn’t first come, first served, and it’s not about who shouts the loudest. It’s about creating a moment of joy for children who all too often miss out.

Give golf a go in a relaxed, welcoming environment at Newmachar Golf Club. Free sessions are available for anyone aged 8+ with a physical, sensory or learning disability—no experience or equipment needed, just come along and try it out. It’s a great way to get active, boost wellbeing, and discover facilities you can continue to use if you enjoy it.

🐴We had such a wonderful visit to Tamala Farm Experience with our families from the HANDSS group.🐷
From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel so welcome. The experience was incredibly inclusive, friendly, and informative, ensuring every child could engage, explore, and enjoy at their own pace.
The children absolutely loved feeding the lambs 🐑, spending time with the goats 🐐, and visiting the cows 🐄—it was such a brilliant experience! Being outdoors, learning new things, and enjoying such a calm and supportive environment made the day extra special. It was truly heartwarming to see everyone so relaxed and happy 😊
A huge thank you to the amazing staff for making our visit so special—we really appreciate the care and effort that went into making it accessible for all.
We had an incredible time and will definitely be back for another visit! 🌟
