Today is International Men’s Day. The day gives the perfect opportunity to highlight the importance of male representation in the social care sector.

From newcomer to an influential support worker, we're shining a spotlight on our 'Support Worker of the Year' - Addy 🥳

When Addy started a career at Springvale Resource Centre in Greater Manchester as a bank support worker, he had no prior social care experience.

In less than two years, his confidence flourished, and he felt empowered to take on more responsibilities, resulting in a promotion to a senior role and earning an Outstanding Achievement Award! 🥳✨

Say hello to Richie, who leads a happier and healthier lifestyle since moving into one of our Gloucestershire supported living services 👋

Richie has type 2 diabetes, which was previously managed with a high level of medication. With support from the passionate team, his diabetes is now completely diet-controlled by healthy eating and frequent exercise 💪🥕🍅

Here are some recent photos of Richie doing some of his favourite hobbies - tending to the garden, where he plants seeds and cares for the plants, and playing his guitar 📸🥰👇

NEW SUPPORTED LIVING IN NORTHAMPTONSHIRE 🙌

Doors are now open at our newest supported living accommodation, which will support up to 15 adults with complex needs.

We recently welcomed Councillor Couse, Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care and Public Health at West Northamptonshire Council, and Assistant Director Ashley, to take a look around the new supported living service 🏠📸

Among those who have already moved in is Colin, who is really happy with his new home. He was more than happy to invite guests into his home before sitting down for a cup of tea and chat 🥰☕
