A brilliant afternoon of music at Galgorm today 🎷🎤

We had a braw time celebrating Burns Night at the home! 🎶

Residents enjoyed traditional Scottish music, plenty of laughter, and of course… a taste of haggis 🥁🍽️

It was lovely to share stories, memories, and a bit of Scottish spirit together 🩵

This Week in Galgorm ✨

Residents have enjoyed a range of engaging activities throughout the week.

🎉 Bingo sessions brought plenty of fun, friendly competition and laughter.
💪 Armchair exercises helped everyone stay active, supporting mobility and wellbeing.
🧶 Paper weaving encouraged creativity and focus with some lovely finished pieces.
💅 Pamper morning offered residents time to relax and feel refreshed with gentle treatments.

Another great week enjoying each other’s company and trying something new ☺️

A huge well done to the staff members who took part in the “Walk 62 Miles in October” challenge, raising an incredible £1,725 for Dementia UK.

Thank you so much to everyone who donated and a massive congratulations to the girls who completed the challenge — a fantastic achievement! 👏💙

Yesterday in our cooking class, the residents chose the menu — a classic fry! 🍳

It was a lovely morning filled with fun, teamwork and the smell of home-cooked food☺️

We had such a lovely morning yesterday with Jukebox Jenny 🎶

She brought the fun with her music and movement session and it was amazing to see so many smiles, singing along, and tapping feet. Our residents really enjoyed getting involved.

A big thank you to Jenny for a brilliant morning — we can’t wait to do it again! 💛
