Job Vacancy : Full or Part Time Cook

We are looking for someone very special to join our wonderful team as a cook at The Chimneys Care Home.

Working 8am-6pm on a rota basis- including every other weekend.

Ideally someone with knowledge & experience in a catering role with a good understanding of food hygiene. Ability to cook homemade hearty meals for our residents, to be able to plan menus & excellent communication skills are all essential.

Part Time Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant: Wednesday/Saturday & Sunday - 15-18 hrs per week. Hrs to be agreed, can be somewhat flexible.

Part Time Weekend Carer: working 16 hrs per week 2-10pm Saturday & Sunday

Do you have a few hours are week you could spare and would like to spend them helping out at The Chimneys Care Home.

We have different areas in which you could help:

Having a brew & a chat
Activities- playing games/exercises
Baking
Woodwork & crafts
Pamper sessions- nails/manicures
Ironing

Autumn is upon us and with winter just around the corner, unfortunately this means its the season of bugs and illnesses. I'd just like to remind all our families and friends to please not visit us if you have symptoms of flu or feel unwell 🤧 ❤️😃
