Some exciting news!

Introducing our newest member of CHC, Matt.

Matt already has some experience with systems and has been a barber for 15 years. He’s joining us from December for a couple of days a month to start with, to help us get more systems on more heads and with the same level of attention to detail and service that we always offer.

The hair system industry is growing at a rapid pace and we want to make sure that we can help as many guys as possible.

Introducing our newest member of CHC, Matt.

How CHC Started vs How It’s Going 😀

From day one, James and I have poured everything into CHC — our time, energy, and hearts. What started as a dream quickly became our purpose, and looking back now, it’s unbelievable how far we’ve come (and yes, there’ve been plenty of laughs… and maybe a few tears 🤣).

CHC began with a passion for hair — and with James originally coming to me as a client who one day asked if I’d like to start a hair system business with him. From that moment, CHC was born.

At the time, I was working at as a stylist. After training in hair systems with alongside Tom and Fletch, and with the incredible support from Vic and the Hart team, we were given a space downstairs in the most beautiful salon — and that’s where CHC started to grow.

Transitioning from women’s hair to specialising full-time in hair systems was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Leaving Hart was bittersweet, but growth was calling — and wow, haven’t we grown!

To — my partner in crime — thank you for running everything behind the scenes and being the best support for our clients. CHC wouldn’t be what it is without you 💪

We’re so proud of how far we’ve come and so excited for what’s ahead in 2026. Big things in the pipeline 👀✨

One key bit of advice to anyone contacting us when looking at starting your hair system journey.

- Do your research!

We’re not just talking about systems and how to live with them, but also research service providers too.

- How long have they been working in the field?
- Do they have real lived-in experience of systems?
- What support and guidance do they offer?

Don’t go into your system journey rushing to find someone who can do it ASAP or just on price - consider what you need and also what level of expertise that provider can bring to help you through the first few months and beyond.

BUT just read a part of his 5* star review…he wanted hair to give him some of his identify back. That’s powerful stuff right there.
