Struggling with weight loss and constant cravings? The answer might lie in your sleep habits.
Poor sleep can disrupt your body's metabolic processes, increasing hunger and difficulty managing weight. Ensuring you get 7-9 hours of quality sleep each night can help regulate your appetite and support your weight loss efforts.
Remember, achieving your health goals isn't just about diet and exercise; it's also about giving your body the rest it needs to function optimally.

🌱 Going Back to Basics: Tackling Bloating & Gas 🌱
Sometimes, the simplest solutions are the ones we overlook. Bloating and gas are common issues, but they don't have to control your life. By focusing on the basics—eating slowly, supporting your gut health, and identifying food triggers—you can make a significant difference. Of course, seeing a professional is always recommended if you're looking to get to the bottom of things (no pun intended 😉).
📣 Exciting News 📣
For the next four weeks, I’m extending all free discovery calls to 30 minutes – and I’ll be available every day of the week. Let’s have a chat about what’s troubling you and explore how nutritional therapy could make a real difference.
🌱 Your Gut: The Key to Better Health 🌱
Did you know your gut health influences far more than just digestion? When the gut barrier becomes compromised, harmful substances like lipopolysaccharides (LPS) can cross into the bloodstream. This triggers inflammation, which can impact many areas of your body, from uncomfortable bloating and wind to:
✨ Skin concerns like acne, eczema, or rosacea
✨ Hormonal imbalances affecting your mood and cycle
✨ Difficulty losing or maintaining weight
✨ Fatigue and low energy
✨ Brain fog and poor concentration
✨ Frequent colds and illnesses
When your gut is out of balance, these knock-on effects can leave you feeling far from your best. But here’s the good news – with the right support, you can feel like yourself again.
A tailored gut protocol designed with a nutritional therapist can help you uncover the root causes of your symptoms, ease discomfort, and support your overall well-being. Together, we’ll work towards improving digestion, rebalancing your system, and helping you feel your best.
It all starts with your gut – let’s get you back on track. 🌿

🚨 Is Your Gut Holding You Back from Losing Weight?
You might be doing everything right—eating better, moving more—but if your gut health is out of balance, it could be working against you. An unhealthy gut can trigger inflammation, disrupt your metabolism, and even make your fat cells grow bigger!
In my latest blog, I explain how gut issues like dysbiosis, and something called lipopolysaccharides (LPS), could be stopping you from reaching your goals—and what you can do about it.
✋Did you know that frequent unhealthy snacking can disrupt your gut health? From bloating to inflammation, processed snacks can do more harm than we realise. But there's good news! By choosing gut-friendly alternatives and sticking to regular mealtimes, you can support your digestive health and feel your best. 💪

Hello, welcome to my Sam Brown Nutrition page. My journey into nutrition began a long time ago after being diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease, riding a medication roller coaster and facing losing my bowel.
Luckily I met a therapist who after putting me on a specifically tailored diet, reduced my symptoms so much that I have spent the last 20 years in remission.
This sparked a deep desire to teach people how to nutritionally support their body to improve health issues that can affect our lives so drastically. I gained control over my body and my disease a feeling I want everyone to feel.
I have a particular interest in digestive issues, female hormonal imbalances, adrenal dysregulation. Getting to the root causes and addressing those rather than just the symptoms can help you find long-term relief. Your body deserves to be loved and respected so that it can function properly again!
Let's take back our health together and prove that a full, healthy life NEVER has to be boring or restrictive.
