As promised some pictures from today as we paid tribute to 2 staff members at today's run and enjoyed great support from their family members as well as Service Users and staff from Christie development centre, and those who attended from other services, 2 service users completed the run today, can you see them in the results below??

Well that is the last 80 for 8 run completed, and also we paid tribute in running for 2 staff members who are no longer with us, and more photos and information on this will be posted in due course. It's been an amazing journey, doing parkruns in Scotland, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Warwickshire and Yorkshire with lots of special guests and moments, we will be keeping the page open for several more weeks, please help us finish on a high

Our final official 80 for 8 run occurs Saturday at Mansfield! We will also be running in memory of two staff members who were local to this area; so we hope for a good turnout and an emotional and meaningful Easter Saturday.

Joined by one of his oldest friends (of 40 plus years) John managed a 24th place out of 373 runners and a time of 22.06, even got some food in afterwards!

We now have raised enough for 3 defibrillators let's give it one last boost as we head towards the final run next week!!!

Big shout out to Michael who.lives at one of our services for completing a sponsored walk! Michael, supported by two friends and his mother, walked from Wollaton (Nottingham) Balloon woods area, all the way to New Eastwood, along the disused canal, and raised over £900 towards the cause!
Also a huge thank you to Michael's mother Sally, who arranged and made this happen, and to all those who donated.
