January always seems like a longggg month — but it’s flying by here.

And today, with that wee blink of sunshine, it reminded me to notice the small things that make ordinary days feel nice.

We’ve definitely learned over the years that a quiet life and the little things are most definitely the way we like our days to be.

What was one small thing that made your day a bit nicer today?

A couple of years ago I really thought the changes in my hair were just part of being in the over 40s club 🫠

Fine hair my whole life…then in my 40s it got thinner, flatter, more fragile. Hairline receding. Bald patches at my temples.

And I genuinely believed that was just part of getting older 🤷‍♀️

People mentioned scalp health. People mentioned using the right products consistently. People said ‘it doesn’t have to be like this!’

I smiled, nodded…and ignored them. (Though secretly kept watching their hair getting better and better!)

And it turns out they were right.

With time, consistency, patience and products actually designed for scalp and hair health, my hair changed. Not overnight. Not magically. But properly.

Thicker. Stronger. Less shedding. Hairline filling back in. And confidence I didn’t even realise I’d lost.

So if you’re reading this thinking ‘this is just what happens in your 40s’ - it doesn’t have to be.

I wish I’d listened to this sooner, so don’t be like me!

These are the exact products I use on my hair and why I love them!

I’ve always had fine hair, but in my 40s it became thinner, more fragile and I had bald patches on my temples. I honestly thought that was just the way my hair would be now.

Turns out, it wasn’t. It just needed the right products, used consistently!

So here they are👇

✨ Thickening shampoo - reduces hair fall by 84%, strengthens, thickens and densifies every hair strand
✨ Volumising conditioner - weightless but strengthening and nourishing
✨ Hair Thinning Defence Serum - reduces hair loss by 92%, immediately reduces breakage and helps hair to grow. It is UNREAL.
✨ Detangler - brushing wet hair can often cause damage and weakness so I always detangle.
✨ Blow Out Cream - heat protection, smoothness and cuts drying time in half 🙌
✨ Rejuvenique Oil - there is no other oil like this on the market. I use as a weekly scalp treatment and it has given me the best scalp and hair of my life!

Nothing fancy. Nothing complicated. Just products that actually do what they say.

If your hair is feeling thinner, weaker or just not like you anymore, comment or DM me HAIR and I’ll help you build the right routine for your hair!

Well two weird, one maybe not so much!

1. Sensory overload - why does everything suddenly feel SO loud? The TV. People talking. Background noise. Why do I need the radio OFF to concentrate on driving now when it’s busy?!🙈

2. Why am I always covered in bruises?! Door frames. Tables. The car door. Thin air. Is it a spatial awareness thing? Or am I just rushing around too much? Sometimes there’ll be a massive bruise on my shin and I won’t even know how it got there 🤦‍♀️

3. Not so weird but I like it! I stopped caring so much what people think. From someone who used to overthink everything, like what I said, how I came across, if people liked me…now? Like me. Don’t like me. Either way, it’s all good 😌

Pretty sure these can all be put down to perimeno. So many weird wee things that suddenly just creep in!!

Anyone relate? Or anything else to share?
