The family of the late Angela Golding, wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them on their recent bereavement of a much-loved wife, mother, granny, sister, auntie and friend.
We are very grateful to all those who attended the wake and funeral mass, brought mass cards, sympathy cards, telephoned and sent messages of condolence. A special thank you to those who travelled a distance to offer their sympathy and everyone who made a donation to Marie Curie in lieu of floral tributes.
We offer our thanks to Fr Barry Matthews, Fr Naughton and Deacon Malachy McElmeel for the beautiful requiem mass. A very special thank you to our dear friend Fr Naughton for his heartfelt and truly uplifting homily remembering Angela’s life. We thank Deacon Eunan McCreesh for visiting and praying with Angela during her illness. The funeral mass was greatly enhanced by the beautiful music provided by Cathy Kelly and Patricia Hagan.
We are very thankful of all the medical and nursing staff who cared for and treated Angela which such compassion, kindness and love throughout her sickness. We especially thank the Armagh District Nursing Team, Marie Curie Nursing Team, Palliative Care Nurse, Dr Siobhan O’Reilly and the staff of the Friary Surgery, Dr Uprichard and Dr Taylor and all the staff of the Mandeville Unit in Craigavon Hospital. Thank you to the staff of McKeevers Chemist (Thomas Street) for their friendly and professional service.
Our appreciation is given to those who brought gifts of food to the house. Thank you to those who helped in the kitchen with refreshments and those who helped outside the home with lighting and parking.
Finally, thanks to Maeve the Sacristan, to Michael the grave digger for preparing Angela’s final resting place and to Martin Kelly Funeral Directors for their compassion, guidance and professionalism.
At the risk of failing to mention anyone, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a sincere token of our heartfelt appreciation.
Angela’s Months mind mass will be celebrated on Thursday 26th February at 7.30pm in St. Colmcille’s Church, Knockaconey.
