This is a great infographic from Irish Reflexologist Irish Reflexologists' Institute… for me the not a quick fix is very important as in a quick fix world I feel clients come wanting one treatment to sort out a problem that’s probably taken years to develop

There’s a lot of misunderstanding around reflexology - and to be fair, it’s often been undersold.

It’s not just a quick bit of relaxation at the end of a long week.
It’s not something generic or one-size-fits-all.
And it’s definitely not about “just lying there” while nothing happens.

It works through specific pressure techniques on the feet that relate to different systems of the body, aiming to support balance, reduce stress, and encourage the body’s own natural responses.

No pressure to perform. No need to push through.
Just space for your body to settle and do what it’s designed to do. 💜

I’ve suffered with Hayfever all my life but for the last two years I’ve had acupuncture with Nichelle and it’s been life changing. This year I’m having cosmetic acupuncture as well to boost collagen production and reduce fine lines. This is how I spent my morning. No fillers or long term antihistamines for me. I look like something out of a horror film though with the needles all in my face 😱

Every reflexologist knows… the session always follows the same script 😂

You arrive fully alert, slightly apologetic about your feet, determined to stay awake…
…and 10 minutes later you’re somewhere between “this is lovely” and “what day is it again?”

We’ve seen it all. And honestly? That’s kind of the point 💜
