A new study showing how walking can reduce the risk of alzheimer's disease: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41591-025-03955-6

It's brilliant that this kind of research is being done - it increases our understanding about why walking, and reducing sedentary behaviours in general, is so important for brain health.

This is the way we have lived for thousands of years - being outside in nature, moving regularly, foraging for food...these kinds of behaviours are how we are meant to be living and something that is so easy to forget.

As the weather is getting colder don't forget to keep getting outside...it takes on average approximately 30 minutes to walk 3000 steps (the minimum number to reduce the risk of alzheimer's).

We can all spare 30 minutes a day to look after our brain health...let's go! 🚶🏼🚶🏼
