Rememberence day 2025❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

We held the two minutes silence with our residents and then chatted throughout the morning about their memories from the war.

With all of our residents hard work throughout the week we made a beautiful mural and all of our residents and visitors were admiring it!

In the afternoon we had our Remembrance Day party.
We sang, danced and laughed throughout the afternoon❤️

In preperation for armistice day 2025 we have been doing some poppy colouring and making our own poppy’s to wear❤️

For Guy Fawkes night last week our resident’s did some fireworks Arts & Crafts🎆🎨

We had a lovely sing-a-long and chatted about previous firework nights spent with our loved ones🩷

Yesterday we had the lovely Daniel in to sing for us🎶🎤

Always a brilliant afternoon of dancing and singing when he visits!

Last Friday we had our spook-tacular Halloween party!👻🎃

We carved pumpkins, sang, danced, ate lots of treats and had lots of giggles🧡

Smiles all round🥰

Yesterday we had the wonderful Russell and Faith come to sing for us! 🎶🎤

We had a lovely new visitor to Larkland house this week, our new Zumba lady Mareda! 🤸‍♀️💪🏼

Safe to say our residents are eager to have her back!

We started off our week by prepping our decorations for our Halloween party🎃👻

We started off by making pumpkin and black cat paper plates and then we made red handprints that we cut out later in the day.

2 hours of scrubbing hands later our residents were happy to admire their hard work!

This morning we had a very special delivery! We now have an interactive table at Larkland House!

It has hundreds of interactive games/sensory activities to keep our residents entertained forevermore.

We had a great day of trialing all of the amazing things it can do- We all can’t wait to put it to good use!
