Who relates to this?
When I feel fragile amidst turbulence … I turn to something physical - I do a thing, a practical thing - to feel grounded and present.
Got quite a bit going on around me right now, which includes uncertainty, change and new ways of being.
So, this afternoon, whilst the blustery storms were blowing everything inside out, I felt the need to cook, to make wholesome food, with no purpose in mind, apart from the steady mixing and making.
What to do with left over roast parsnips and the last of the courgettes? With a few extra bits and some creamy coconut milk …

And then came Turkish inspired chicken, coated with hot honey and sweet spices, and homemade tzatziki with mint, to serve with flatbreads and salad.
