I get asked a lot how equine-therapy works. The truth is that everyone takes something different from it.

For Jesse it’s about running free, making bug hotels, hay farms and pony desserts 🫶

One of the ways that we work is by observing the horses and ponies and talking about how they might be feeling. This helps young people to build vocabulary about emotions without the intensity of a focus on themselves.

Watching Anthony brings joy and comfort to so many. He is sociable and playful when he wants to be and then so completely at peace in his own company when he wants his space.

The last few weeks he’s been choosing to be with Ripple and Larry but this week he has chosen some space, a private bedroom for his morning nap, and better grass! 🫶

We’ve been celebrating with our clients in the beautiful sunshine, creating our ‘ADHD’ & ‘AUTISM’ obstacle courses - and coming up with positive words for ourselves at each letter 🫶🏻🌞

Spaces available Saturday 21st March. 10-11am

Join our Farm Fun group and get stuck into a variety of farm-based activities; from bug hotels and den building in the woods, to poo picking and field maintenance! A group designed for those with less of a direct interest in time spent with ponies, but still in need of a calming outdoor safe space to run off some steam, go exploring and spend mindful time in nature.

It’s International Women’s Day and we are feeling lucky to be surrounded by some of the best women you could hope to meet 🫶

From the hardworking women on our small but brilliant team, to the inspirational mum’s of our SEN clients, to the incredible teachers of the schools that we partner with and, of course, the young people we work with who are navigating a tricky world with strength and resilience.

We are in awe of the courage, strength and humour of all these women.

Cara the matriarch of our farm, encapsulates this. Her calm but powerful presence is a magnet to people and horses alike.

The main man in action with one of our wonderful clients 🫶

As anyone who has visited us lately knows, Anthony has decided he runs his own life (even more than he did before!). He comes out to play when he wants to see clients - and he literally gallops off to the top of the farm when he says he’d like to chill with his friends instead!

Here is is choosing to be with someone who really needed him this week. Looking as handsome as can be 💕
