We are coming up to our busiest time of the year, and due to an increased workload, positions have become available for Funeral Service Operatives.

Duties will include collection of deceased persons and transporting to a designated mortuary facility, holiday cover, and other duties that fall within the FSO remit.

The position is not a branch based role, and will include heavy lifting and unsociable hours. The ideal candidate will hold a full driving license, be well presented, be of a compassionate and caring nature whilst working to high standards and under strict time frames. Experience is preferred but training can be given to the right candidate.

ANDY TAYLOR

Sadly passed away on the 9th October 2025, aged 49 years.

Andy will be deeply missed by all his family, friends, and everyone who knew him, and a funeral service to celebrate his life will be held on Thursday 30th October 2025, 12noon, at St Helens Crematorium.

There will be a reception following the service at JayDee's Club, Sumner Street, Haydock.

Donations if desired can be given C/O the funeral director, and will go to Andy's chosen charity- Willowbrook Hospice.
