Climb Snowdon for Restore Collective!

This spring/summer, we’re inviting you to take on an unforgettable challenge, climbing Snowdon, to help us build something truly special.

We’re raising funds to renovate and fully equip our new community centre: a welcoming, safe space where people can connect, grow, access support, and find hope. This centre will become a hub for restoration in our community, but we need your help to make it happen.

Every step you take up the mountain will help lay the foundations for something life-changing back home.

Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or just ready to challenge yourself for a great cause, this is your moment to make a real difference.

This year, M G Evans & Sons are excited to be offering something completely new.

We’ll be providing our limousine for students attending prom free of charge. There is no hire fee at all - instead, we’re simply asking that the family makes a donation to a local charity.

Every penny raised will go directly to a good cause in our community.

If you (or someone you know) are attending prom and would like to use this service while also supporting a local charity, please get in touch with us for more information - Matthew@mgevans.co.uk

As this is our first year doing this, availability will be limited and offered on a first come, first served basis.

Let’s make prom night special and support a great cause at the same time 💙

At our ten-year anniversary event in November, we announced an ongoing partnership with Atherstone Town Council to take on a long-term lease of a town-centre space they own.

The space, accessed via stairs from the rear of the arcade shops, has been unused for many years and is currently in poor condition. The Town Council is keen for it to be brought back into use for the benefit of the local community, and together we are actively applying for grants to fund the necessary improvement works. We estimate the cost of these works to be £80,000–£100,000.

Our aim is for the space to be ready later in 2026, allowing us to deliver our own regular activities as well as provide a venue for other local groups.

A small group of volunteers has already begun carrying out some initial work. If you would like to get involved—whether by helping with fundraising, making a financial contribution, exploring business sponsorship, or supporting grant applications—please get in touch.

Our Story

In September 2019, Restore Collective became a registered charity (1185401).

Restore Collective is the new joint name of Sycamore Tree Trust and the project from Atherstone called “Restore”.

The Sycamore Tree Trust started in 1987, as a small Bible bookshop, over the years it sold other bits, as well as running Christian counselling, and a pregnancy crisis counselling agency. It has overseen the work of Youth-180 since 1999.

Youth-180 started off as the Nuneaton Youth Development Project in 1997, before changing its name to something more memorable. Youth-180 is, and has always been, about taking the church to the young people. Currently this looks like mentoring in secondary schools.
