Thinking of Cutting Out Sugar? Here’s What You Should Know
Reducing sugar is a great step towards better health, but it often means giving up more than just sweets. Many find they also need to avoid alcohol, refined wheat, and ultra-processed foods, as these can trigger similar cravings and blood sugar spikes.
If you’re diabetic and on medication, it’s especially important to make dietary changes under medical supervision with your GP, diabetic clinic doctor or a qualified dietician to avoid dangerous blood sugar fluctuations.
At Valuemed, we’re here to support you with trusted advice and resources to help you make safe, sustainable changes for your health.
