The team at North Norfolk Physio are thrilled to have Angela Waite join the team on a permanent basis, after working on a temporary basis with us back in 2024. During Angela’s time with us then, she made such a positive impact on her patients as well as bringing her vast amount of experience to provide support and guidance to the team, we just had to have her join the NNP team permanently!

So a bit of info about Angela...

Angela graduated from Addenbrooke’s School of Physiotherapy in 1987. In 1994, after working at the Ipswich Hospital, she moved back to Norfolk and worked extensively in General Practice in Norwich and North Walsham. She made the move into Private Practice while still working for the NHS and has been working in her own practice for many years. She has worked in a Lecturer / Practitioner role at the UEA and has enjoyed being involved with physiotherapy student placements. Angela has passed the membership examination for the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine and is trained in Clinical Pilates.
Angela enjoys all aspects of musculo skeletal physiotherapy working with clients of all ages, helping them to achieve their potential at whatever level that may be. She has been involved in pitch side cover for a national schools’ rugby tournament. She has worked with elite rowers, horse riders and cyclists as well as clients with complex life changing diagnoses. Her special interests are spinal conditions and all things feet! Angela is looking forward to working as part of a team again after many years as a sole practitioner.
In her spare time, Angela enjoys Pilates, running, cycling and walking her dog Fin. She keeps busy with her two adult children and volunteers for Nelson’s Journey.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5 STAR SERVICE @ NNP
"I attended physio treatment at NNP Aylsham last year for a shoulder injury and was really impressed with the care and treatment I received from Toby, and also the friendly and professional approach of all the staff. Therefore, I had no hesitation in recently booking for further physio and advice for a medical issue. Once again the treatment I received was excellent and tailored for my needs. I am feeling much more confident in continuing my exercises and with Toby’s advice Thank you all."

Reformer is for EVERYONE, including our amazing older clients! Did you know the Pilates reformer was originally designed for rehab? That’s why it’s one of our favourite tools here at North Norfolk Physio.

Here are 5 reasons we love using the reformer in a rehab setting:
1️⃣ Low-impact but highly effective. Feel the freedom of movement without the pressure of weight bearing.
2️⃣ Builds strength safely through controlled resistance, perfect for those that are waiting for hip/knee replacements.
3️⃣ Feels amazing!
4️⃣ Enhances flexibility & posture in a supported way.
5️⃣ Easily adapted to each person’s needs & abilities, especially if you find getting down on the floor for matwork a challenge!

Whether you’re recovering from injury, managing a long-term condition, or just want to stay strong and mobile – the reformer is a fantastic, safe, and empowering option.

At NNP, we believe movement is medicine – for every age, every body.
