Unleash the beast 🙌

Getting down and moving like an animal is one of the best things we humans can do to improve our functional ability.

As babies , most of us learn to crawl …we sit hunkered down with our hips between our feet, we learn to support our own bodyweight and move through amazing ranges of motion.

In childhood , most of us run , jump , hang from bars , push our limits.. move in lots of different ways and through different planes of motion … those born with challenging physical differences and disabilities constantly inspire and humble us with that innate ability to push our abilities and find ways to move and function .

As we progress into youth and adulthood, many of us gradually move less and the movement we do have becomes much less exciting !!!

Putting crawling , animal type movements into our workouts reconnects us with that inner child and at the same time is one of the most effective ways to build , flexibility , agility, strength and coordination. All things that translate directly into our work in the gym or on classes .

A bit late sharing this but January’s Member of the Month at Flo’s Fitness Boutique] went to !! 🥳🥳

Right heed-the-baw, it’s hump day and you’re already thinking about giving in on those lifestyle changes you said you’d start on Monday about 3 weeks ago, aren’t you?

DO NOT GIVE UP ❌

If you’re struggling to curb cravings then set calories aside for whatever it is – cake, biscuits, sugary tea, we don’t care!! As long as you are still in a calorie deficit, it doesn’t really matter.

Eating celery and nothing else will just make you give up, crabbit, and ultimately fatter than before when you binge eat 💩 (which you definitely will)
