This afternoon we enjoyed a visit from Bunny Love, for some pet therapy. The animals including rabbits, Guinea pigs, a chicken, ducks, a tortoise, and Obe the dog. All our residents really enjoyed clapping and feeding the animal as well as throwing the ball for Obe.

It was an afternoon full of care, love, and smiles, enjoyed by all!

We enjoyed celebrating Burns Night with a lovely day full of celebration and celebrating a special Scottish event.

Those living with us of Creggan Bahn shared a lovely afternoon with traditional haggis and tatties made by our fabulous chef Derek. We had the amazing piper Robbie and the talented speaker John - many thanks to all involved.

Then after lunch we celebrated with a great performance from Jules who wowed the residents with lots of Scottish songs. The residents had a great day with lots of smiles and laughter throughout.

Residents have been enjoying the arts and crafts classes using printing techniques to print thistles and roses. The thistles are printed using sponge and acrylic paint whilst the roses were printed using the base of cut celery dipped into acrylic paint. The drawing of the stag was skilfully coloured by one of our lovely residents', Dorothy.

It was a fun and relaxing activity and residents' have produced a beautiful homage to our Bard, Robert Burns.

Our resident had an amazing afternoon out on the tri shaw bikes, enjoying More...Fresh Air and enjoying the scenery. All residents involved had a great time being ridden about and seeing the lovely Ayrshire scenery. The residents all returned with big smiles and said how much of a great time they all had.

On Christmas Day we all enjoyed a visit from Santa. Some of us even enjoyed going to the grotto to collect our presents and getting a photo with Santa. It was a magical day full of fun and laughter enjoyed by all.
