This has been sitting with me for a long time.

For years, I’ve seen how deeply anxiety affects people. Quietly. Relentlessly. Often without the right support or understanding.

Even while busy, even while life moves on, this idea never left. It’s been there in the background, waiting. There’s never a perfect time to do something that matters. You either start, or you don’t.

My mum lived with anxiety. She’s no longer here, but the cause very much is. Seeing that up close changes you. It stays with you.

Anxiety Aid International was created from that pull. A belief that anxiety deserves better awareness, earlier support, and a more human approach.

This isn’t a campaign.It’s not a trend.It’s something I believe in.

99% of people I see have never been hypnotised before.

Most people arrive expecting something strange. What they usually experience instead is calm, clarity, and a deeply relaxed body.

This photo shows what hypnotherapy actually looks like. You’re relaxed, aware, and in control the whole time. It’s not mind control and you don’t go “out of it”. Hypnosis feels more like guided focus or deep relaxation than sleep.

The body settles first. Breathing slows, muscles soften, and the nervous system comes out of protection mode. That’s where real change begins.

There’s no right or wrong way to be hypnotised. You don’t need to try or force anything. You don’t even speak during the hypnosis part, simply relax and let the process happen.

The space and setup are intentional. Hypnosis isn’t invasive or intense. It’s calm, safe, and surprisingly normal yet so effective.

I feel it.

Anxiety is rising globally and it’s affecting children, teenagers, adults, and whole families.

What I’m seeing now goes beyond 1 to 1 therapy alone. People need earlier support, clearer guidance, and somewhere safe to turn before things escalate.

Alongside my practical therapy work, I’ve been building something bigger focused on access, education, and real support.
