In a world that feels suffocating and restrictive, did you know that there's an organ in your body that actually has the ability to cut through the noise of the world to set you free from the mental chains and propel you forward with purpose?

Imagine that. 

No longer weighed down. 
No longer stuck in freeze mode.
No longer drowning in procrastination. 
No longer lost, desperate and sad with fear.

That organ isn't your brain. 

It’s your heart.

Your heart isn't just for pumping blood round your body. The recognition of its ability to provide intuitive intelligence has been lost over the years and therefore its phenomenal power has become redundant.

Whether it's world shenanigans, your job, family pressures, or a mixture of a lot of different things causing you stress, your REACTION is rooted in deep programming that you aren't even aware of! Crazy, eh!

But it doesn't have to take years of counselling and talking therapy to deal with all the layers of the onion. In fact, most of the time you never get to the bottom of it. 

Rapid Transformational Therapy is MASSIVELY different. It bypasses the conscious mind used to talk and talk and talk in counselling, and cuts straight to the subconscious mind where all your programming is stored. There, the origin and anchor of your problem can be identified, and then most importantly, reprogrammed so you're no longer struggling. 

A lot of women come to me with chronic illness and this is often the end result of something emotionally deeper showing up physically. Can RTT resolve this? Absolutely. I've personally healed from multiple ailments and came off lifelong medication. 

But you don't NEED to find WHY the chronic illness showed up to be able to reverse it. It certainly helps, but it's not essential. 

Instead, you can use a powerful technique called Cell Command Therapy. You can start addressing physical symptoms by simply listening to a hypnosis audio every day.

Today I asked myself for permission.
Permission to sit in the 'recoil'.

Could it help you too?

I unintentionally took some time away from social media to pause and process the world. I haven't uncovered all the layers, and I certainly haven't found all the answers, but I have found a path forwards. Granted, it’s a wobbly path, with some rubble and weeds, but it's 'good enough'. 

You see, we need purpose. Without it we stagnate. We freeze with uncertainty, overwhelm or fear. We need to keep moving forward. Whatever that looks like. One tiny step. Then another. Don't worry if it's 'right'. You can course-correct as you go. The important part is to move. Start. Take action. Even if it's messy. 

However, after over 25 years in the industry, surviving a decade of relentless trauma, healing chronic illness and overcoming the feeling of being a failure, there's something I STILL need to work on. Enjoying regular guilt-free time of 'doing nothing'.

Hint: it's a mindset change. 

You see, it’s not 'doing nothing'. It’s 'doing something essential'. It’s gathering clarity, energy, focus, and intention with purpose. 

It's physics. Sometimes to propel forwards there first needs to be a period of recoil.

We need both rest and action. It’s a balancing act. One I haven’t perfected yet, or at least got comfortable with. 

I had intended to propel this weekend, however I found an inner voice asking for permission to hold that recoil a little longer. 

There must be a reason. So I'm leaning into trusting my intuition on this one.

So, I'm thoroughly diving in R&R for the next couple of days before releasing the spring. 

Then, I'll be bringing you calm, creativity and connection, through donation-based workshops and a new initiative supporting sustainable local living. 

Times feel dark and heavy, but I want to help you navigate through that to find the joy and the light, both inside yourself and in the world around you. I'm here to help you ease the stress, release the anxiety, strengthen from chronic illness and embrace life again!

So, I invite you to sit in the recoil, and get ready to propel with purpose. And then ... are you willing to take messy action with me?

Your mind craves simplicity, not pressure.

And nowadays it can be increasingly difficult to find a gentle flow. From a busy home life, to pressure in work, to global events, there is a lot to juggle. We're not built to juggle it all.

So, here's something to think about. When you feel overwhelmed, it’s rarely just your long to-do list; it’s often your subconscious mind running old “pressure = success” patterns.

Somewhere along the line you've picked up the belief that you can only be successful, worthy, valued or loved if you're always proving it. 

So here's a quick tip based on RTT principles. 

Try this next time the stress spikes...

Ask yourself, “What am I believing I HAVE to do right now?”
 
Then gently challenge it: “Is that actually true… or just familiar?”

Awareness loosens the grip of subconscious patterns. And from there, you get to choose differently.

It's easy to get trapped on the hamster wheel of fast, pressured living, but here's the permission you haven't asked for to make a shift. You don't have to be in control of everything. 

It's OK to slow down, drop a few of the unnecessary things you've got into the habit of juggling, step off the turbulent hamster wheel and choose a more gentle, intentional walk instead.

Clarity reduces overwhelm faster than control ever will.

If global events feel heavy right now, giving more attention to them won't ease that feeling. Instead, come back to the moment. Search for the wonder that's all around you. Lay back, feel the sun on your face, listen to the wind through the trees, watch the birds dance overhead, taste the salty sea air, and smell the blooming flowers! It won't change global events, but it'll immediately change your environment and experience of life. And that's what matters. Even for a while. 😍🌿🌻🌊

✨ Introducing the first of my NEW Community Series to help us connect and navigate these times together ✨

I previously mentioned that with a changing world I felt a little 'off' not addressing the elephant in the room. After all, it’s no longer only work, family life or childhood experiences that are causing us stress and holding us back from excelling in our lives; we now have geopolitics and domestic unsettle stealing our energy too. And that matters.

I've allowed myself time to explore rabbit holes, seek some understanding of the world, find a little acceptance in my heart, and recalibrate my thoughts so I can move forward with a purpose that feels right.

So, in addition to 121 Rapid Transformational Therapy and Hypnotherapy for professional women dealing with stress and chronic illness, I've decided to hold a range of donation-based community events to help us slow down, gather ourselves, reignite the power within us, and slowly but surely find our own paths again - full of intention.

When we are lost, there is strength in connection.

In this small, intimate session we will learn the SCIENTIFIC technique of tapping into the heart's 'mini brain' cells, and use this intelligence to LISTEN to our internal guidance that has been drowned out. This will help create our current intention and future direction that FEELS right.

We'll do this through a guided session that combines:

🕯 The magic of natural beeswax, and
🎨 The freedom of creating a personal vision board...(with a difference).

The sun is finally out (I'm very happy 😊), the grass has had its first cut, and I’m taking a few minutes to connect barefoot. Why? 👇🌱☀️

When life feels overwhelming, from personal circumstances or from global situations, (or both!), this simple activity helps bring me back from the panic. Feeling the ground under my feet, slowing my breathing, and reconnecting with nature (by feeling the sun on my face, watching the clouds move, listening to the birds chatter etc) helps calm my racing mind and shifts my body from stress to steadines.

I love the feeling of dropping back into my 'self' and synchronising with the earth's natural energy field. (Don't underestimate it!)

Small moments like this remind me that while we can’t control everything happening globally, we can care for our own balance and resilience. Sometimes the most powerful reset is just stepping outside and touching the earth.

This morning, I need to take a second to do something incredibly important.

I need to slip back into living consciously.

I need to catch my thoughts and reframe any that aren't going to be helpful for me today.

I need to hush the monkey mind that's making me spin in circles.

I need to release the fear that I'm holding in my heart.

I need to let the energy of anger and frustration move through my cells and into another form.

I need to select a simple affirmation for today.

So I'm being still to hear my thoughts, I'm doing HeartMath techniques, I'm walking slowly, I'm looking intentionally, and I’m settling into the rhythm of the sea....all while embracing the rare blue sky as the sun comes up to join me.

And for today.. "I am safe".

In my very transparent post of 26th Jan, I shared honestly about why I had gone quiet for a while.

I spoke about the overwhelm, the questions, and the time I needed to pause and process what was happening in the world around us, how that was impacting on my daily life and how I was 'showing up' for others.

There was a distinct shift, and I needed to pivot so I no longer felt I had to push water upstream.

Since then, something important has settled inside me.

Not all the answers, but enough clarity to move forward with intention.

During this time of reflection, I kept coming back to the same truth: my purpose hasn’t changed. If anything, it has become clearer.

The world may feel chaotic, uncertain and heavy at times, but that is exactly why the work of developing awareness of our emotions, learning skills to bring our bodies and minds out of fight or flight, and reconnecting to ourselves, each other, and the natural world around us is more important than ever.

Stress, anxiety, burnout and chronic illness are rising everywhere. I see it daily in the incredible women I work with, especially those in the health, education and legal sectors who carry such enormous responsibility for others. However, it is no longer just the career, or busy homelife, or the emotional carrythrough from childhood or trauma that’s impacting our daily lives right now. Relentless world events are adding fuel to the fire. So, it's time to address the elephant in the room.

Supporting women through RTT, Hypnotherapy and HeartMath Reiki will continue to be a core part of my work. But I’ve also realised something else. Right now, many women are struggling quietly. They may not normally seek this kind of support, or they may feel it isn’t accessible to them. So moving forward, I’m expanding the way I offer my work so I can try and support as many women as possible.

Alongside my private client work, I’ll be creating a series of donation-based community events designed to help us pause, soften the mental noise, understand how and why we're reacting, cut through the fear, and reconnect with a sense of steadiness within ourselves.

These spaces will be gentle, supportive and grounded: a place to breathe, reflect, gain perspective and build resilience together during challenging times. There will also be a space for shared knowledge and practical skills, because sustainable community health grows when we support one another in understanding how to care for ourselves, holistically.

Because when individuals find calm and clarity, something powerful happens.

It ripples outward.

Communities become stronger.

Conversations become more compassionate.

And we remember that we’re not navigating this world alone.

This feels like the right path forward for me, and I’m grateful to walk it with those of you who feel drawn to this idea.

More details about the sessions and community events will be shared soon.

For now, my message remains the same as before:

Find peace where you can.
Even in small moments.
Even in uncertain times.

Your mind and your heart deserve that space.

Hi, I'm Nikki McMillen, a local Bangor girl born and bred, and I am the energy behind the creation of Nikki Nev Coaching.

I am pulling together 25 years of knowledge, experience and qualifications, in a wide range of health and fitness services. (That makes me feel a bit old actually, lol).

I believe the four key aspects to a fabulous life are Movement, Mindset, Health and Happiness.
