Something special happened at Lower Laurel Farm this week. 🏡💛

I welcomed Tessa Munt MP for a personal tour of Coastal Cottage and Mountain Lodge — and it was a moment that reminded me exactly why I do what I do.

I walked Tessa through the spaces I have designed for those who need it most. Hoists, talking kitchen equipment, changing places wet rooms — but above all, a place where every family can simply go on holiday together. ✨

Tessa heard about my exciting plans to grow across Somerset and Bristol — new developments purpose-built for the most complex disabilities and neurodiversity. Big things are coming. 🌿

And speaking of big things — I am beyond excited to share that Woodland House has received planning permission and we are moving at pace to commence construction. Watch this space! 🌲🏗️

Because a holiday and respite isn't a luxury. It's a right.

We already run our 5 * award winning property that provides our guests a safe, fully acsessible space that truly meets their needs. We want to build another one but Planning permission could be imminently REFUSED.
This would be a huge set back for accessible tourism, and for families who deserve a holiday without barriers.
We need your support to show how important inclusive holiday accomodation really is.

A very unfortunate late notice cancellation due to health issues means that we have availability in Coastal Cottage, 6th - 13th September.

We are seeking to raise £600 to be issued as a refund.

Please get in touch for further details or to make a best offer. Clearly, the booking can be for a number of days within the week if the full 7 days is not suitable for you.

Supporting small businesses is essential for us. Step and stone is a bakery who support those with learning difficulties into employment. We gift these in our welcome packs. Just received another delivery they are delicious.

Today, our new Van Raam Opair bike arrived, a fantastic addition to our fleet and in perfect time to be used in the lovely weather. What a lovely evening we had with the local cubs.
They came to www.lowerlaurelfarm.com to get their disability awareness badge.
We had blind hot chocolate making with the talking microwave and scales.
Blind games consisting of dominoes and cards.
They worked together to get whinnie the pooh onto the shower bench using the hoist and sling.
They experienced what it was like to be hoisted.
They asked some really relevant questions and were so interested in the equipment and how it was used. They where a pleasure to have.

Any midweek booking Monday to Friday £500. That's £125 per night for 3 bedroom lodge.

We are 5* rated OT designed and run accessible accomodation in North Somerset near Weston Super Mare.
