🏨Building for Your Future: Upgrade Work to Begin at Pinfold Medical Practice🏨

2 New consulting rooms on the way – we thank you for your patience during construction.

We are excited to share that the next phase of our practice improvement plan is about to begin. Following our recent announcement about securing funding for two new multi-purpose consulting rooms, we can now confirm that the building work will commence on Friday, January 16th 2026.

This development is a key part of our commitment to enhancing your care. The new rooms will allow us to safely isolate patients with infectious conditions, host more specialist services locally, and provide better facilities for training the next generation of doctors.

Minimising Disruption⚠️
We understand that building work can be inconvenient. Please be assured that every possible step will be taken to keep disruption and noise to a minimum. Our contractors will follow strict working hours and site management protocols.

The practice will remain fully open and operational throughout this period, and all our usual services will continue. Our team will be on hand to guide you as needed, and signage will be in place to ensure safe and clear access to the building.

We kindly ask for your understanding and patience while this important upgrade is completed. The short-term inconvenience will lead to long-term benefits for our entire community, including:

Infection Control: They will function as dedicated hot/isolation rooms for patients with infectious diseases, helping to keep everyone safe.
Futureproofing: This upgrade prepares us for any future pandemic needs, ensuring we can safely see patients on-site when necessary.
Expanding Services: The additional space will enable us to host more specialist staff, bringing a wider range of care closer to home in our rural community.
Medical student placement: Furthermore, these facilities will greatly support our medical student placements. We value the fresh perspectives and enthusiasm they bring to the practice, and this will enhance their training experience with us.
We are enormously grateful for your support as we make these vital improvements to our practice. We look forward to welcoming you into our enhanced facilities later this year.

For any immediate queries, please contact the practice as usual.
