Following the recent announcements and the restrictions from this coming Thursday until December 2 , I would like to reassure all my patients that SJP will be running as normal . The stringent cleaning and PPE and protocols to ensure the safety of us all will continue . We look forward to seeing you !

My barnard castle clinic in Saks hair salon has undergone a complete makeover! We are doing everything we can to make sure that patients are in a clean spacious environment. Social distancing , PPE and cleaning between patients is paramount . During these difficult days all precautions are taken to ensure the safety of us all .

From July 7 I will be starting from Forty7 the salon

As you are most likely aware Liz is unable to return to the salon with the rest of the team just yet and is patiently waiting for the beauty industry to get the go ahead.
Like the salon there will be some adjustments made to keep both herself and clients safe, one of which will be carrying out all beauty services upstairs. 💅🏻

There are so many changes for all of us as lockdown eases ... one of the many things I’ve had to do is take on board the safety of myself and my family , my patients and my colleagues as well as all the stringent guidelines that have been put in place for me to return safely to hands on treatment ! This has been no easy task !

Many of you know I have had the privilege of working alongside John Cookson at Footstop podiatry clinic . Carole Dawson reflexologist also works from these premises . We have worked well as a team but we see a lot of patients and there is a lot of foot traffic as you can imagine . Will all of these things considered we have made the decision that I will not be returning to work out of Footstop . This allows John and Carole to look after their patients and have a safe spacious environment .

I have been very blessed to find a large modern room on Coniscliffe road that I will be returning to work out of . This is in Forty7 the salon with Charlotte Elizabeth Mcclean and Liza Gange Carrigan . This will not change the quality of patient care and mutual referral ststem that John and I have had in place for some years now . In these unprecedented times face to face therapy may have ended for the time being !
However this does NOT mean that support, treatment and improvement in symptoms has to end !
There are many tools that are available to help all my patients manage their symptoms at home
With the correct bespoke exercise and self massage programme pain and stiffness can be helped and alleviated .

From the 2 April SJP is joining forces with Footstop Podiatry and is moving premises to West Auckland road Cockerton!
John and I already work closely together to give our patients a high quality service and successful outcome to their pain ! We are aiming to be the the one stop treatment location for the Darlington district and beyond !
Carole Dawson is a highly reputable reflexologist also available for appointments at Footstop !

All patients will be welcomed to this new venture and can expect nothing more than the same quality of treatment they have come to expect from us both ! SJP is opening it’s doors and expanding to welcome a multi disciplinary therapy suite in Darlingtons west end ! We are looking for physios , rehab therapists , sports massage therapists , acupuncturists , reflexologists , nutritionists, homeopaths ,counsellors or any other type of reputable therapies ! We are so excited about the possibilities and individual care packages we can create
