🍝 Proper Beef Ragu (Serves 4)

No jars.
No added sugar.
Just proper beef ragu.

🛒 Ingredients

600g lean beef mince (5–10%)
300g dry pasta
1 tbsp olive oil
1 onion (150g), diced
1 carrot (120g), diced
1 celery stick (50g), diced
1 red pepper (150g), diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp tomato purée
1 tin (400g) chopped tomatoes
100ml water or beef stock
1 tsp dried oregano
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
40g parmesan, grated

👨‍🍳 Literal Instructions

1️⃣ Fill a large saucepan with 2 litres water.
Add 1 tsp salt. Bring to a boil.

2️⃣ Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large pan (medium heat).

3️⃣ Add onion, carrot, celery, red pepper.
Cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

4️⃣ Add garlic. Cook 30 seconds.

5️⃣ Add 600g beef mince.

Break it up and cook 5–6 minutes until browned and no pink remains.

6️⃣ Add tomato purée. Stir 30 seconds.

7️⃣ Add chopped tomatoes, 100ml water/stock, oregano, black pepper.
Simmer gently for 10 minutes.

8️⃣ Add pasta to boiling water.
Cook 8–10 minutes (check packet).
Reserve 1 mug pasta water before draining.

9️⃣ Add drained pasta to the ragu.
Stir well. Add a splash of pasta water if needed.

🔟 Sprinkle parmesan on top and serve.

£5 pay as you go and per a session.
£40 a month and no contract for unlimited sessions a week.

£24.70 a month to use our gym without the classes (24 hour access and no contract)

I want to give a big shout out to Jkita.

She was someone who didn't habe much confidence or belief when she first come to us, she didnt believe she could do much, but she kept coming.

and very quickly, she felt comfortable enough to be herself, and is very entertaining.

She has also gone on to achieving so much, from push ups, to 10k, to hyrox challenges, you can tell she is a different person.

Thanks for being with us Jkita.

Pay as you go £5 a session (you are welcome to just turn up)

Memberships:

24 hour gym access + classes £40 a month, no contract
Gym only £24.70 a month and again, no contract

Beat Roy,

This was a brilliant challenge and hard session.

Roy is 73 years old and super inspiring, and everyone should aim to be as fit as him at his age.

So in this session if you can't beat him now, then you won't be able to do it when you are older.
