Our Story
Increase participation in Sport! With Poolpod. Developed with the assistance of the Olympic Delivery Authority and the London Marathon Trust, Poolpod offers an independent swimming experience in a package that also provides functionality, value for money and reliability.
The Poolpod platform system is designed for any swimmer who finds using the pool ladder inappropriate. Poolpod is a submersible swimming pool platform lift which enables dignified, independent access to swimming pools. Some Poolpods are seeing as many as 50 users per day and have revolutionised the swimming experience for wheelchair users and people with reduced mobility.
Swimmers can choose to use the Poolpod lift with the customer designed submersible wheelchairs or alternatively can remain standing while they descend to a comfortable water depth.
