🐣✨ A Cracking Easter Adventure! ✨🐣

This morning we were joined by Reception from Barrow URC Primary School for a lovely Easter egg hunt. The children had great fun searching for tasty chocolate eggs, as well as laminated eggs with words to support their phonics.

They did a fantastic job, and three of the lovely children were even awarded special Easter eggs for their kindness and generosity in sharing their chocolate finds 🤍

It was wonderful to see them spending time with our residents afterwards, proudly showing off everything they had collected.

Happy Easter half term, Barrow Primary — we look forward to seeing you again soon ✨

🩷 🥂Happy Birthday to our lovely Frances! 🥂🩷

Yesterday was full of smiles, laughter, and plenty of celebrating as Frances enjoyed her special day with friends and family in our garden room 🥳 From a tasty buffet to a cheeky glass (or two!) of wine and, of course, a birthday cake fit for the occasion —it was a day to remember!🥂

We absolutely love seeing moments like these, bringing everyone together and making memories that last a lifetime 💛

A Beautiful Day at Blackburn Cathedral ☀️

Yesterday, a group of our lovely residents enjoyed a wonderful day trip to Blackburn Cathedral 😊

One of the fantastic organists played a beautiful piece specially requested by Gwen, which made the visit even more memorable 🎶

It was especially meaningful for Carol, who used to visit the cathedral regularly, to return and relive those special memories 💛

With the sun shining, it truly was a beautiful day out for everyone ☀️

Music, family and special moments 🎶❤️

Our lovely resident John gave us a fantastic performance with his grandson George today, creating a truly heartwarming moment for everyone here at the home. It was a beautiful moment that had residents and staff smiling from start to finish.

Moments like these mean so much to us all!

Safe to say John was a big hit… his diary is now officially open for future performances! 🎤😊
