We're doing things a little differently for our Northlands Park community gardening morning this week. Instead of gardening, we are going to have a planning session with our volunteers instead. This will be taking place at our Growing Together Basildon community garden, situated on Vange Hill Drive, to the right of the community centre
We'll be talking about our hopes for this project going forward, and how we can achieve those. It's going to be a very relaxed affair - a chance to chat about the project with fellow volunteers, have a cuppa and also see our garden! Whether you're a regular volunteer, you've only been once or twice, or you've been thinking of joining us, we'd love to see you.
We'll be meeting at the usual time, 10.30am - 12.30pm. See you then!

Last Saturday we were at Find Your Active - Basildon Festival, with Basildon Creative People and Places Achieve Thrive Flourish thanks to all the volunteers who helped at this amazing event. 🤸🤸🤸 Looking after physical & mental health through Sport, Arts & the Environment yay !!

Wonderful morning with Greening Basildon at Northlands Park. Children's activities alongside our usual volunteering in the Med Garden. Here every Thursday morning, please come and join in and bring the Family !! We even found some beautiful blackberries to take home.

Free ‘Oceans – Forests – Wetland’ events being run by Woodland Warriors at the Legacy Park on Chalvedon Field.

Tiffers from Woodland Warriors will weave her infectious magic in a fun packed hour focusing on oceans, forests and wetland and how we can reduce, reuse and recycle. Each child must be registered by an adult on arrival on the day.

Please be aware - there are no public toilet facilities at the park.

11 August is fully booked. Spaces available on 18 + 25 August. 2 session per day (11am-12noon + 12.30pm-1.30pm). 10 spaces per session and these must be pre-booked.
