We’re really pleased to share some good news!

We’ll be having a loop system fitted in each of our lounges this January.

This will make a big difference for residents and visitors who use hearing aids, as it helps reduce background noise and makes it much easier to hear conversations, TV, music, and activities clearly.

It’s another step towards making our home more inclusive and comfortable for everyone.

Another great integration session today! 💪✨
It’s wonderful to see everyone coming together and getting involved — staff and residents alike. Our residents really enjoy these sessions, and it’s lovely to see the smiles and laughter throughout the home. 💖👏

Exciting Activities Next Week at the Care Home

• On Tuesday, a poet will visit the care home to talk to residents about their lives. They will then create individual poems inspired by each resident’s story, which will be displayed around the home.

• On Thursday, we have two special staff wellbeing sessions:

• 11:00 AM – Breathwork relaxation for staff to unwind and recharge.

• 2:00 PM – Staff facials for some pampering and self-care.

We’re looking forward to a week full of creativity, relaxation, and wellbeing!

We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to Dunelm for the wonderful gifts donated for our residents as part of their Christmas Appeal. This was the first batch of gifts, and each bag was filled with so much care and thoughtfulness.

We can’t wait to see the residents’ faces light up on Christmas Day when they open their presents — your generosity will truly make a difference this festive season. 💝✨
