Last week at The Millings Care Home! ✨

We enjoyed a fantastic session of armchair exercises, and our residents had such a wonderful time getting moving together. These gentle sessions are a firm favourite and bring plenty of smiles and energy to the home! 💛

Armchair exercises help us to:

• Improve flexibility and mobility
• Boost mood and confidence
• Increase circulation
• Support overall health and wellbeing

Yesterday at The Millings, we got into the festive spirit a little early with a wonderful wreath-making session.

Our residents had a fantastic time, and just look at how beautiful the wreaths turned out! ✨🌿

A Lovely Day at The Millings Care Home!

Our residents had a fantastic day out at Strikes yesterday, we think Peter may have found a new best friend along the way! 💛

To top off a wonderful day, we enjoyed an evening filled with laughter and music thanks to The Auckland Shanty Singers. 🎶 What a treat!

✨ Pumpkin carving, just look at those fabulous creations! They’re being entered into our groupwide pumpkin competition… fingers crossed! 🤞

Halloween Prep at The Millings! 🎃

We had a fantastic afternoon yesterday getting creative and making Halloween masks!

Our lovely residents decided to put their own twist on things, instead of spooky designs, they went for some adorable animal masks instead. 🐱🦉🦊

Yesterday our residents were busy painting pinecones – bringing the autumn colours to life with their creativity. ✨

What have we been up to at The Millings Care Home?! ✨

We’ve had a busy and creative few days! Residents have enjoyed:
🎄 Painting ceramic tiles with festive Christmas designs
🖌️ Canvas and clay painting
🧶 Knitting
🔑 Trying macramé keyrings for the very first time

Alongside this, we’ve kept entertained with a variety of games and our much-loved film nights. 🍿

It’s been a wonderful few days full of creativity, fun and laughter here at The Millings 💛
