I haven’t yet shared the full story of the year I’ve had, maybe one day I will tell it all, but for now, this amazing lady is my lovely Mum and the reason why I became a Reiki Master this year. Through my own personal battles earlier this year I learned the power of energy healing and becoming consciously aware of my own patterns and triggers and how to alchemise these into strength, not through avoidance but by awareness and retraining and rewiring my brain.
When my Mum got her cancer diagnosis in March I wanted to use these skills to help her as much as I could, and without realising, all of the work I’d already done led me beautifully into Reiki. By calming the nervous system, rebalancing energy and helping to promote the body’s own calming and healing energy, this helped to reduce my Mums awful side effects from chemotherapy, offered her calmness when she was petrified and made her feel loved and held through her toughest days.
Even in Mums final weeks when she was confused and struggled to speak, she would still ask me about Reiki 🩷🙏🏼✨ it gave us a connection that I will always be truly thankful for.
Now Rest in Peace my beautifully brave Mum. We will forever be connected and your energy will never be lost 🩷🙏🏼✨ ###
