A message like this is what it’s all about 💫

One of our service users recently underwent brain surgery, and before going in, we focused their programme on improving balance and building strength - particularly on one side due to their cerebral palsy.

After their operation, they told us that the exact same balance exercises we had been working on were used in their occupational therapy assessment.

That’s when you know the work matters.

Preparing the body before surgery isn’t just about fitness - it’s about giving people the best possible chance at recovery, independence, and confidence.

We’re incredibly proud and can’t wait to have them back when they’re ready 💪🏽✨

This week at our Disability Fitness Group, we focused on building cardiovascular endurance using our fully accessible cardio room.

The group worked incredibly hard right through the session, pushing themselves and supporting each other every step of the way. We even finished things off with some fun games🤪✨

This week at our Disability Fitness Club we focused on balance, coordination, and teamwork through some fun small-sided games.

The guys worked incredibly hard, supported each other, and absolutely smashed all the challenges we set for them! 💫💪🏼

Sessions like this show how exercise can build confidence, help people learn new skills, and create friendships along the way🤝🏻🙌🏼

Monica lives with cerebral palsy, and over the past few months we have been working on multiple goals to help her in daily life. Because of Monica’s determination and consistency in the gym, she has been able to reduce the amount of physiotherapy she needs. Her hard work is really paying off, and it’s great to see the progress she is making💫🫶🏼
