For this job we had to remove some bamboo that had spread from one garden into the neighbour’s property.

We started by removing the fence to be able to excavate the bamboo from the ground. Once removed we added fresh top soil to return the garden to a tidy level finish.

Then we reinstated the fence to leave the garden as we found it.

This is a job we carried out in Tisbury. The client had a large cherry tree that had to come down due to being diseased and unsafe. With cherry and other fruit trees, they are tough to grind and often have shallow roots, so you tend to need to chase them out.

Our team cut the stump to ground level, then proceeded to grind the stump into wood mulch and made sure that all surface roots were chased out. Once completed, we removed all the mulch whilst utilising protection boards. We then added fresh topsoil and seeded the grass at the client’s request.

This time of year is a great time to remove your tree stumps, as cooler soil temperatures and increased rainfall help grass seed establish more quickly once the stump area has been restored.
