A morning of bread making fun

There is something so special about inviting two strangers into our home all sitting around our kitchen table together.

Today Brin and Debs did just that. It was a birthday gift for Brin. Debs wanted to go away with the confidence to make her own bread and Brin wanted to learn about different breads.

We all had so much fun playing and learning together, learning the mindfulness of making bread. Slowing down and living in the moment.

They left as friends and carrying a bag of delicious bead to enjoy at home and share with friends. Brin was gifted with the life skill of bread making for them both to enjoy experimenting together during their retirement.

Debs said: We have thoroughly enjoyed learning our Bread making skills.

A Fantastic Day for Wild Experiences Northumberland yesterday, wandering out of the county to lead a Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge event fundraising for the who just like do such a fantastic job in helping so many every year. It was a fantastic day, awesome weather and company but great to rtn home last night to , and beautiful Northumberland, I always feel so privileged to be able to call this work and to help others with there fundraising efforts.

Today’s Pilgrims, walked in the footsteps of the saints, heard seals singing, curlews calling, tasted the taste of the sea and splashed in the warm water.

All the Pilgrims enjoyed refreshments at Pilgrims Coffee House and Roastery.

Day 1 of Our Mountain Training Hill Skills course.

A morning spent in the indoor /outdoor classroom.
Afternoon in the Harthope Valley practising map and compass skills.

Highlights: learning how to use a compass and a map, getting such an amazing view at the top of the mountain, working together in small teams to successfully navigate our route.
