Running a business or leading a team can be incredibly rewarding, but it can also be demanding, isolating and mentally draining, particularly for those working remotely or independently. Prioritising both personal wellbeing and sustainable business performance has never been more important.
That’s why we’re pleased to invite you to The Peer Support Circle, a monthly space designed to support business leaders, entrepreneurs and professionals to step back, reflect and strengthen both their wellbeing and leadership effectiveness.

🗓 When: Thursday 26th February 2026, 10:00 – 11:30am
📍 Where: Venaspace, Exeter (Paris Street, EX1 2JY)

🔆 Brave the big talk this ... 🔆
You might see a lot of this on your socials today, but what does it actually mean?

🔸 Quite simply, It means doing what we always do - with meaning.

Many of us greet people like this: 'you ok?' or 'alright mate?'

Whilst avoiding actual eye contact and without slowing down as we walk on by.

🔸 Braving the big talk means:

🔹 Stop, look and listen!
🔹 Be present, even if you can only spare a few moments.
🔹 Close the laptop, put down your phone; see the person in front of you.
Allow someone to be heard without fear of judgement.

Don’t feel pressure to solve a problem just because you’ve heard about it. Be honest when you don’t know the answers, and remember that simply listening is a big support to someone who’s struggling. Remember if you do have that big talk today, make a mental note to check back in later this week, sometimes knowing someone is still thinking of you is the greatest support of all. Honesty and compassion are your greatest gifts - share them today because it really is time to talk.
